The purpose of the Justice Engaged Student Hotline is the increase graduation rates for youth involved with the justice system.
The hotline offers guidance and support with re-entry back into the Colorado K-12 educational system after justice engagement or involvement.
What is Justice Engagement?
As defined in Colorado House Bill 24-1216, a "justice engaged student" means a student who is involved in the criminal justice system in any capacity, including, but not limited to, adjudication, probation, ticketing, detention, diversion, commitment, or community supervision.
What happens when I contact the hotline?
When you contact the hotline, you'll be connected with a trained Hotline Hero who will listen to your concerns and offer non-judgmental guidance and support. The hotline is currently available in both English and Spanish.
